Is your 3d Visualiser or 3d Studio a graphic design firm or a team of Architectural Industry experts?

Ok, we have all seen it, the strange things that some 3d Renders have?

You know what I mean, things like huge steps into Garages – so big that you would need a monster truck to navigate them…….massive capping’s/profiles on Roof claddings…..tiny or huge gutters and fascia’s…..huge unrealistic window frames….repetitive plants in the gardens (I mean just rotate them so they don’t look the same/add some variation in height….)… horrendous colours slapped together.

Normally the above things, and the list goes on of course, are completed by inexperienced graphic designers who may be great at the programs needed, but they just don’t have any real world experience in house design and construction.

Architectural industry experts have the experience and knowledge to ensure that the above does not happen.  They can read plans and instantly see issues and advantages to the designs and how to visualise them. Even things like putting together a harmonious colour palette to ensure a design looks just as good in 3d as it does in plans format.

Try to use your own countries 3d talent where possible, even if they can’t match the offshores price, as you will find more of the staff will be used to the local ways of construction and how they look. This is important to your future sales to ensure that your potential customers are seeing your product as close to life like as possible.

Also, ask the 3d Design studio, what is the experience of the Studio Director, he/she will shape the direction of his team, ensuring his knowledge is transferred to his staff.
